01 About Us & Acceptance of Terms

TTR Desk is operated by The Technical Room ("TTR", "we", "us", "our"), a trading education and software platform operating at thetechnicalroom.ca. Contact: support@thetechnicalroom.ca.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and The Technical Room in relation to the TTR Desk desktop application, mobile app, dashboard, website at desk.thetechnicalroom.ca, and any related software, digital content, tools, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By using desk.thetechnicalroom.ca, creating an account, downloading, installing, launching, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

02 What TTR Desk Is — and Is Not

Critical Disclaimer: TTR Desk is a software and education platform. We provide digital tools, dashboards, calculators, and resources for personal record-keeping and trading organisation. Nothing within the Service constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional counsel.

The Technical Room is not a registered financial adviser, broker, dealer, portfolio manager, or regulated financial services provider under any regulatory body in any jurisdiction. We do not provide personalised financial advice, investment advice, order execution, managed-account services, or client-money services.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

All features of the Service are informational and educational tools only. They are not personalised recommendations, solicitations, or offers to buy or sell any financial instrument.
Any trading decisions you make are entirely your own responsibility. Seek advice from a qualified, regulated financial professional before making any trading or investment decision.
Bot features, automated signals, and any algorithmic tools within the Service are provided strictly for convenience and informational purposes. They do not constitute trading recommendations.
Past performance data, statistics, P&L figures, or projections displayed within the Service are historical or user-inputted data only. They are not indicative of future results.
The Technical Room accepts no liability whatsoever for any financial loss, trading loss, missed opportunity, tax liability, or any other damages you incur as a result of using the Service.

03 Account Registration & Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
Maintain the security of your account credentials and promptly notify us of any unauthorised use.
Not create multiple accounts without our prior written consent.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

04 Licence Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, The Technical Room grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to download and install one copy of the TTR Desk application on devices you personally own or control, and to access and use the features of the Service corresponding to your active subscription tier.

This licence does not include any right to transfer, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service.

05 Prohibited Use

You agree not to, and will not permit any third party to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the application.
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the Service.
Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service.
Share account credentials or allow others to use the Service under your account.
Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service using automated means.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, our servers, or any connected systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, availability, or performance of the Service.
Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

06 Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including the software code, application design, user interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all other proprietary materials — are and shall remain the exclusive property of The Technical Room. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

07 User Content & Trading Data

You retain ownership of all trading data, account information, notes, and other content you input into the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant The Technical Room a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service. This licence terminates when you delete your account.

08 Copy Trading, Signals & Bot Disclaimer

High-Risk Warning: Copy trading, automated bots, signal sharing, and all forms of trading involve a substantial risk of financial loss up to and including the total loss of your capital. You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

The copy trading, bot, signal, and any automated features within the Service are software tools that facilitate connections and automate user-defined actions. They do not constitute investment advice or trading recommendations.

09 Assumption of Risk

Trading in financial markets carries inherent risks. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your trading decisions and any resulting financial outcomes. The Technical Room is not responsible for any losses you may incur. You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose.

10 Third-Party Integrations

TTR Desk integrates with third-party services including Tradovate, Rithmic, MetaTrader, CTrader, DXTrade, MatchTrader, TradeLocker, Discord, and others. The Technical Room is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

11 Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur.

12 Complaints

If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us at support@thetechnicalroom.ca. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them as quickly as possible.

13 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

14 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Technical Room shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

15 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

16 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
